What will I Do?

You will work in one of the most beautiful ballparks, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans! The Sales Operations Intern is responsible for assisting the ticketing & premium staff generate revenue through the selling of season ticket memberships, selling & servicing of partial plans, group tickets, corporate events & premium seating via phone calls, appointments, networking events and ballpark tours.

Essential to this role is the ability to be organized, multi-task, outbound prospect and activate for sales events/tables and manage appointments for new ballpark tours and access to the sales cottage. Additionally, we expect this role to help lead out on sales initiatives, off-site events, and the new Bees ballpark items along with managing inventory needs within ticketing systems, such as payment plans, calendars, etc.

The position will:
• Manage and keep detailed notes of all customer accounts within our CRM, Salesforce
• Manage and organize accounts within our ticketing system, Ticketmaster
• Manage and organize appointments, leads and tours at new ballpark and sales cottage
• Assist in selling season ticket memberships
• Assist in selling, servicing and renewing of groups
• Assist in selling, servicing & renewing Premium Inventory
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Perform gameday responsibilities such as entertaining clients, picnic setup and fulfilling commitments of FEPs
• Maintain & grow industry standard sales & service skills
• Participate in on-going training
• Assist other departments around the ballpark as needed.

What are the requirements of the Job?

• Seeking or have obtained a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university preferred but not required
• 1 or more year of sales experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work all home games and work irregular hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
• Punctual, groomed and dressed for a professional environment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally.
• This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess.
• This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time.
• This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.

What are the hourly rates?

This position starts at $16.00/hour.

Is this part-time or full-time?

This is a seasonal (Baseball season) part-time position
