Salem Media Group Boston is looking for a dynamic Business Manager that will make a full contribution to the success of the Business, Traffic, Administrative, Marketing/Promotion, and Sales Departments by being an effective team member.
The Business Manager will work alongside the General Manager. Daily activity will be handling the day-to-day accounting functions and will include, but not be limited to: daily deposits, daily revenue reporting, weekly Corporate revenue reporting, monthly and quarterly closings, working directly with Staff Accountant and other Corporate Officers on Variance Reports, Annual Budgets, and other Corporate Reporting and Audits when required, managing the Traffic and Administrative Departments and employees, handling local recruitment and onboarding.
Please note this is not a remote position.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Creative, ambitious, energetic, competitive leader with the ability to develop and motivate staff
Organized individual with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills required
Excellent interpersonal skills
Innovative and strategic thinker
Strong people and communication skills
Team player willing to work with other departments to create a positive work environment
Prior Management experience preferred
Prior Wide Orbit experience would be a benefit, but not required
