POSITION PURPOSE: SAG-AFTRA is currently seeking a Rockstar Recruiter to source, recruit, screen , and interview candidates to fill organizational roles. The incumbent in this role will build relationships with Hiring Managers within the organization to gain a better understanding of their current and future recruitment needs, and think of “out of the box” ideas to increase a talent pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to work in a faced paced enrviornment and strategize with an exceptional customer service oriented approach, and a strong sense of urgency will make this person successful in this role.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the entire full life cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals of the organization.
• Will help manage the recruiting and employment processes in iCIMS our Applicant Tracking System to ensure compliance with SAG-AFTRA policies, state and federal guidelines.
• Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates.
• Will help develop and update job descriptions to reflect an accurate assessment of the position.
• Source and network with active and passive candidates through various means to promote SAG-AFTRA’s job opportunities and ultimately create a talent pipeline of candidates.
• Reviews and assesses applicant’s education, experience, training, and other qualifications.
• Conduct phone screens to assess various candidates’ knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and initate the reference and background check process.
• Schedules interviews and coordinates interviewers or panels. Tests and scores applicants and gathers feedback from other interviewers.
• Conduct ongoing research to identify job boards, posting sites, educational institutions and other relevant associations to further drive the organization's brand and aid in the identification of top talent.
• Posting jobs should be included with the research of job boards bullet.
• Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities.
• Maintain communication with applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• Maintain collaborative working relationships with recruitment agencies and their representatives.
• Will help develop, streamline and enhance applicant tracking system, track reporting and analysis, sourcing and recruiting initiatives and processes.
• Confirms and draft offer details.
• Prepares and extends job offers.
• Notifies applicants of rejection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Deep knowledge and experience in candidate sourcing, selection and assessment.
• Ability to develop a large, diverse and technically qualified applicant pool from multiple sources including direct sourcing, competitive information, cold-calling, web sites, referrals, advertising, networking, etc.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
• High degree of attention to detail.
• Able to organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Handles the most complex issues.
• Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.

• Strong Internet search and research skills.
• Extensive experience with Boolean search strings.
• Ability to influence, sell and negotiate.
• Knowledge of employment law, diversity and outreach, AA/EEO principles and their appropriate application in an employment setting.
• Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally.
• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
• Hold yourself and others accountable for a high level of performance and integrity.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours (and/or overtime for applicable non-exempt positions) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
and/or Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Combination of agency and internal recruiting experience preferred.
• Immediate to advanced experience working with applicant tracking systems (preferably iCIMS).
• Previous use of LinkedIn Recruiter highly desirable.
Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations:
• PHR or SPHR preferred.
