Information Management Coordinator (Estates)
Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Residuals Trust and Estates, the Information Management Coordinator - Estates, will identify estate representatives and provide them with pertinent information to submit correct documentation for distribution of funds.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to deduce and confirm required documentation received; update database accordingly.
• Interpret wills and trust documents to determine rightful beneficiary.
• Send confirmed beneficiary information to Studios and Payroll House for update of their records.
• Communicate effectively with members and studios regarding required information.
• Create standard correspondence & form letters.
• Research in Oracle in conjunction with file documents.
• Research in Oracle necessitated by intake of returned checks not issued to beneficiary.
• Prepare documents for scanning in to the Documentum system and shared ‘J’ drive.
• Process death notifications from SAG-AFTRA Pension & Health.
• Manage estates email inbox.
• Process assigned cases from Supervisor.
Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
(The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.)
• Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications.
• Must be courteous and organized.
• Ability to communicate effectively through letters, email, phone calls and reports as required.
• Must be able to accurately type 35 WPM.
• Knowledge of Oracle a plus.
• 10-key by touch.
• Detail oriented.
• Knowledge and ability to create standard professional correspondence.
• Operation of standard office equipment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of part of a team.
• Strong customer service skills and excellent telephone manner are necessary.
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally.
• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
• Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA’s sole discretion.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
• Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
and/or Experience
• High School or equivalent
• Some college preferred
Testing Requirements
• Basic skills: spelling, math, grammar and filing – passing score: 76%
• Microsoft Word and Excel tests (basic and intermediate) – passing score: 76%
• 10-Key test (by touch) – passing score 76%
• Typing test 35 WPM
