POSITION PURPOSE: The Document Coordinator is directly responsible for preparing documents, scanning and indexing.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Document Preparation and back up scanning for Document Technician.
• Process a daily and a weekly quota of documents for pre-scan preparation.
• Receive, research, organize, process and categorize documents from departments throughout the organization; once completed return them to the original department.
• Document Indexing and Quality Control.
• Process documents for indexing and quality control.
• Ensure all field values scanned are accurately transferred to Documentum.
• Performs training on document preparation and quality control to temporary and full-time support staff employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Must have a strong understanding of document preparation and scanning requirements.
• Must have a strong understanding of Windows Imaging, Imagistik Tiff viewer and Adobe Acrobat ™.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team.
• Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both verbal and written form.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
• Superlative interpersonal skills: High degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds, both internally and externally.
• Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
• Must be able to work in a challenging environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by SAG-AFTRA’s attendance policy.
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Imaging Services; scanning and indexing documents.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Kodak Ngenuity 9150 scanner or equivalent.
• Familiarity with document management applications.
• Strong knowledge of Documentum a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Captiva InputAccel and Kofax Ascent capture preferred.

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
• Basic Skills – passing score 76%
• Word and Excel (basic and intermediate) passing score-76%
• Typing – 30 WPM
