Compliance Analyst (FA Compliance & Strategic Planning)
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
To research, assemble, forecast, and analyze information in connection with financing, production and distribution of independently produced entertainment, as well, assist with management and administration of, and compliance with, Financial Assurances vehicles designed to secure residuals earning streams for Union members.

• Completion of tasks, assignments and projects, as delegated by Senior Manager, FA Compliance & Strategic Planning including administration of collection and residuals reserve custody accounts and agreements.
• Researches and prepares residuals reserve estimates and provides market allocations for producer’s residuals obligations.
• Reviews and analyzes market allocations through reporting by producer, distributor or collection agreement as well as motion picture exploitation and distribution streams.
• Develops and implements market and distribution tracking, and analysis tools.
• Assists in managing assessment of Buyer's and Distributor’s Assumption Agreements.
• Assists with corporate mergers, library acquisitions, foreclosures, and bankruptcies.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

• Proficient in data-management methods and systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and G-Suite.
• Able to interpret and comprehend legal agreements and contractual terms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including data analysis challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to cultivate strategic and collaborative relationships, both internally and externally.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no instructions, and as part of a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to administer training initiatives.
• Able to work in a fast paced and challenging environment, where constructive feedback from others is encouraged.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of work experience in a data analysis or contract administration role, preferably within the entertainment industry, or total equivalent years of relevant work experience.
Certificates, licenses, and/or registrations: N/A
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
• Research experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe, Documentum, Oracle, IMDb and Lexis Nexis is a plus.
• Knowledge in film finance and distribution structures or any financial assurances experience would be strongly considered.
