POSITION PURPOSE: The Broadcast Membership Representative responds to inquiries regarding all aspects of Broadcast and Audiobooks, in addition to the Broadcast Steering Committee and the Audiobooks Steering Committee. Responsibilities also include providing support for department projects, meetings and events, and communication with members working in Broadcast and Audiobooks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for and serves as point person for all matters related to membership, including, but not limited to, the administration of dues check off and all matters regarding dues and initiation fee payments for Audiobook and Broadcast members; including negotiating payment plans with terminated members. In addition, will serve as a conduit to the Membership department for Broadcast and Audiobook members and will assist other Locals with Broadcast membership functions.
Responsible for the administration of Employer Reported Earnings for Broadcast contracts, including Oracle data entry.
Serves as a liaison for members with AFTRA H&R and SAG P&H.
Monitors Audiobook H&R reports, including trouble shooting missing earnings of Audiobook members with AFTRA H&R and signatories.
Maintains files in V drive for Audiobook and Broadcast.
Responsible for Broadcast Mentoring Program including contacting universities, plan and implement program.
Coordinates with EEO/Diversity department on broadcast diversity conferences.
Fields calls about audiobook/signatory inquiries.
Attends Audiobook Steering Committee and NY narrator meetings, prepares notices and takes notes of meetings.
Serves as point person for Broadcast communications
Completes ''one production only'' forms in the Audiobooks arena.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English; in both verbal and written form.
Demonstrate effective skills in the use of PC applications.

Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.

Have an understanding of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined at SAG-AFTRA's sole discretion.
Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.
Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma and 2-3 years previous experience in a support position.
Certification, licenses, and /or registrations:

Basic skills: Spelling, math, grammar and filling - passing score: 76%
Microsoft Word and Excel test (basic, intermediate and advanced) - passing score: 76%
