ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF PERFORMER PROGRAMS

Job Summary
The Associate Director of Performers Programs will support the National Director of Actors Programs to help manage, develop, execute and ensure the Foundation is consistently implementing high quality, dynamic, relevant and creative educational programs on the ground in Los Angeles and New York (when feasible), virtually and online. The Performers Programs are made up of Conversations, The Business and Casting Access and offer a wide range of educational classes and resources which focus on the nuts-and-bolts of both performance and career in order to better prepare a robust talent pool for success in a constantly changing entertainment and media environment.
This role requires a confident self-starter with a passion for the film and TV industry, high-levels of energy, enthusiasm, initiative, professional polish, leadership thinking and integrity. This person will report directly to the National Director of Actors Programs and will collaborate with program managers across the organization to support each program area.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with the National Director of Actors Programs on overall Foundation curriculum development, including researching leading industry executives, experts and thought leaders to create and implement programs.
Supports the National Director managing the programming teams on both the East and West Coast and for the delivery and overall success of each program.
Collaborates with the National Director of Actors Programs to create outreach strategy for targeting and building brand awareness for the Foundation.
Developing and producing Panels and programming across the disciplines.
Utilizes relationships with PR teams at studios and networks as well as personal PR firms.
Maintaining relationships with entertainment industry professionals - including publicists, studios, agents, managers, journalists.
With a sharp eye for detail, coordinates scheduling of programming, and all aspects of event execution.
Has experience with social integration of programming.
Programming a YouTube channel as well as promotion, marketing and data analytics.
Composing internal and external communications, including e-blasts and outreach to publicists, distributors, and studios
Collect data as needed for proposal-writing and grant-reporting requirements and compiling statistics
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of four (4) years professional experience in arts programming
Deep understanding of the entertainment industry
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.
Exemplary project management and writing skills.
Experience overseeing a team of staff
Self-starter, able to juggle projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact.
Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
High level competence with Google suite, YouTube, All social media platforms, MS Office programs, Mailchimp, Zoom.
