Spring Paid Intern - Marketing

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

As a Marketing Intern with the Sacramento River Cats, you'll help support marketing and fan entertainment efforts across campaigns, promotions, gamedays and community engagement. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in sports marketing and learning how to support the execution of marketing initiatives across the department.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Support the planning and execution of gameday marketing activations and in-game promotions.
• Assist with gameday setup including concourse signage, ticket pack redemption tables, gate giveaways, and more
• Help plan and execute theme nights and weekly in-game activations
• Assist our community relation efforts by tracking and fulfilling ticket donation requests
• Assist with department inventory management including event supplies, promotional items and other marketing materials
• Support data collection and reporting related to marketing efforts
• Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Team.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a degree with a focus in marketing, sport management, or a related field
• Availability to work up to 25 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship including nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Knowledge of and some experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is preferred but not required.
• Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

Physical Requirements:
• • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to travel locally to events and other office as needed.
