Summary
The video producer position is responsible for producing unique and creative stories to support the organization's online and in-arena objectives.
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Produce on- and off-court videos for the Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center, Kings Guard Gaming and Stockton Kings.
• Edit videos to convey compelling stories and skits.
• Produce graphics in Photoshop and After Effects.
• Prepare for and conduct insightful and entertaining interviews.
• Work closely with Content & Digital teammates to leverage trending topics and current events to develop spontaneous activations.
• Set up and complete individual and collaborative productions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to advance organizational storytelling.
• Manage and maintain footage using CAT DV.
• Routinely work, including travel, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Two years of experience producing video content.
• Background in journalism, video production, broadcasting, communications, social media or related fields preferred.
• Proficient with Sony Mirrorless Cameras, Canon DSLR cameras, and RED Digital Cinema Camera.
• Adept in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Final Cut Pro.
• Robust knowledge of the NBA, eSports, entertainment, as well as pop and internet culture.
• Creative visual storyteller.
• Well-versed in interview and on-set production lighting.
• Familiar with field production audio equipment.
• Experience with sound design and color correction.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior attention to detail, organization, and editing experience.
• Self-starter motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented workplace.
• Team and detail oriented.
