Summary:
Fans are the lifeblood of the Sacramento Kings organization, and we pride ourselves on having the best fans in the NBA. As we look to grow our fan base, develop new segments, and deepen one-to-one relationships, we're building and expanding our fan loyalty initiatives. These include Royalty Pass, a gamified in-app experience including Fan Challenges, subscription programs, predictive gaming, NFT memberships, and various other opportunities to engage fans and build their fandom.
The Manager, Loyalty Marketing will build and oversee campaigns and initiatives focused on fan activation, engagement, and retention. This person will help grow the Kings fan base and engage existing fans by creating end-to-end programs that drive LTV through personalized and relevant content. We're looking for someone who's both data-driven and creative, who can visualize the full fan ecosystem, identify key behaviors and rewards, and work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to develop successful programs.
This full-time position is based on-site in Sacramento, CA is offering a salary of $75,000.
Responsibilities:
• Create consistent brand stories and experiences that build fandom both inside and outside of the arena.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase fan awareness, adoption, and engagement with the various facets of the Royalty Pass, our loyalty program, including Fan Challenges, Badges, Predictive Gaming, NFTs, and the digital Kings wallet.
• Create hypotheses and a testing framework to further engage fans and drive specific results.
• Partner with internal teams on new ideas, products, and programs to determine where to drive the most value for fans and revenue for the business.
• Build segmented, personalized, and automated marketing strategies across all channels including email, website, app, OOH, etc.
• Launch new subscription programs to help drive fan engagement and revenue.
• Work with Business Intelligence to track KPIs and gather fan feedback to iterate on program evolution.
• Manage and scope external vendors for program initiatives.
• Work closely with the Business Intelligence, Creative, Tech Ops, Member Services and Partnerships teams on strategic projects to continue to scale the Sacramento Kings business.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of Marketing or Agency experience required with previous Loyalty Marketing preferred.
• Passion for fan engagement and fan loyalty.
• Experience in driving loyalty and marketing strategy for various stages of the fan lifecycle.
• Data-driven leader with the skills to conceptualize, develop, execute, test, and iterate programs.
• Ability to think outside the box to create and manage campaigns that surprise and delight fans.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment.
• Self-motivated with a track record of managing and executing on large-scale projects.
• Exceptional writing and proofing skills to ensure brand consistency across all campaigns.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook a must.
• Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
