Job Summary: EMTs administer life support care to sick and injured persons at Golden 1 Center.
Availability:
• Part-Time // Weekdays, weeknights, and weekends based on the Golden 1 Center events calendar.
Compensation:
• $20.50/hr
Key Responsibility Areas:
• Provide emergency medical treatment to staff and guests
• Lead a team of up to 25 EMT's
• Coordinate breaks for EMT's
• Track and report Team Member issues, including, but not limited to, schedule adherence, policy infractions and general performance
• Training of EMT's in assigned sections and section rotations including Bridge Level, Plaza Level, Event Level and all other areas as necessary
• Planning, assigning, and directing work
• Appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees
• Support organizational goals through active participation, and adherence to, employee policies and initiatives, motivation techniques and leading by example
• Assist all arena personnel as necessary during an event
• Ensure all equipment assigned to Team Members is used properly and returned according to company policy
• Ensure all Team Members comply with break and meal policies
• Accurately record all treatment and assessment on patient care reports
• Keep current on protocols, changes, and changes in industry standards
• Obtain vital signs, perform physical assessments
• Give recommendations for follow up assessments/treatment
• Initiate workers compensation claims for Golden 1 Center
• Routine cleaning of work station (first aid room)
• Welcome guests, provide assistance and direction for other arena services, and answer any questions guests may have.

• Two years' experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
• EMT certificate from college or technical school and one year related experience.
• The ideal candidate is available to work both day and evening events which includes nights, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
