Job Summary: The Social Media Associate will play a crucial role in curating, producing, and sharing captivating content in Mandarin across the Sacramento Kings' digital platforms. From covering live events to conducting on-camera interviews, this role is perfect for someone with a flair for creativity and a finger on the pulse of social media trends.

Responsibilities:
• Produce unique and compelling content for online platforms in Mandarin.
• Cover Kings practices, games, and team-related events.
• Conduct on-camera interviews and host live chats.
• Write original blogs that resonate with a diverse fanbase.
• Capture and edit photos that tell a visual story.
• Produce, edit, and share engaging videos across our online network.
• Coordinate updates and interact with fans on social networks in Mandarin.
• Track growth/engagement, optimizing strategies based on platform results.
• Assist with additional digital-related initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Experience in reporting, journalism, communications, digital, or related field.
• Proficiency in producing content in Mandarin.
• Experience covering live events, including interviewing and writing.
• Operational knowledge of Weibo, WeChat, and emerging social media trends.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with the Sacramento Kings, NBA, entertainment, esports, and pop culture.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented workplace.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation:
• $18.00 per hour
