Capsule Position Description:
Assist in maintaining and operating all audio equipment for Golden 1 Center and the Sacramento Kings.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA's)
1. As a part of the AV team is responsible for audio feeds used for Kings game and G1C events as assigned.
2. As a part of the AV team is responsible for BOH (Back of House) audio during Kings games and G1C Events as assigned.
3. Keeping inventory of audio equipment and assist in replacing or fixing equipment as needed.
4. Assist with design and/or re-engineering of audio systems or control room modifications.
5. Assist in supervising part-time employees during events.
6. Other duties as assigned by the AV Manager.
Key Competency Areas (KCA's)
The individual in this position is expected to demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the following areas:
Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of audio consoles, signal flow, and audio theories.
• Non-linear audio editing on (pro-tools, audition) or other comparable systems.
• Understanding of digital audio (building has DANTE, BSS, and AMX) and distribution.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
• Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
