Join a championship organization! The Stockton Kings, 2024–25 NBA G League Champions and official G League affiliate of the Sacramento Kings, are seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue through ticket sales, including single-game, season, and group packages. The ideal candidate is motivated, results-driven, and passionate about building a career in sports sales. They thrive in a competitive, fast-paced environment and bring a strong work ethic, resilience, and a drive to succeed in this exciting and rewarding industry.
This is a full-time position based onsite in Stockton, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consistently meet or exceed individual sales and professional development goals within designated timeframes.
• Identify and pursue new leads, respond to inquiries, and convert prospects into clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers through outbound calls, in-person meetings, and game-day interactions.
• Actively engage on game days in a variety of capacities including prospecting appointments, sales tables, pregame events, in-game activations, and off-site events.
• Accurately update and maintain customer records, transactions, and account information in Archtics and Salesforce.
• Participate in ongoing sales training, professional development opportunities, and team sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in sports sales, B2B marketing, or outside sales strongly preferred.
• Dependable and coachable: punctual, prepared, and receptive to feedback in a high-energy environment.
• High level of confidence, enthusiasm, and accountability with a competitive drive to succeed.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals and groups.
• Professional presence with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or Archtics a plus.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule as required by events and the NBA G League season.
Compensation:
• Base Salary: $40,000
• Total Anticipated First-Year Earnings: $40,000–$55,000 , including base salary, commission, and bonus.
