Founded in 1999 and located in Los Angeles California, S4 Studios is a creative design and full service production studio, specializing in entertainment branding, original content, animation and Visual FX. We are working in Maya, 3DS Max, C4D, Substance and Unreal 4.
If you are applying for this job, you should already have experience as a production manager in TV/FILM VFX production. Without getting into lengthy descriptions of how you should be ''motivated'' and a ''team player'', we should assume you are all of those things plus much more. Since this is a tough job that requires a lot of organization on many levels for many things, a fun and easy going personality would be lovely!
ENVIRONMENT: Creative boutique studio located at Mid-Wilshire. You must live in Los Angeles.
OVERVIEW: Work with and manage a small digital team to develop Unreal Engine assets for TV/Film production.
SCHEDULING: Create and maintain a schedule for production team and creative directors.
NOTES: Communicate and document creative/admin notes to clients, artists and supervisors.
BUDGET: Create and maintain budgets. Arrange for purchases based on production needs (equipment, office supplies, software, etc...)
ADMIN: Manage office and coordinators, maintain supplies and anticipate needs for new hires and equipment.
BUILD: Create power point presentations utilizing assets provided by staff.
CREATIVE: Having a creative eye and an opinion is a major plus!
EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 3 years of experience in the visual effects industry on the administrative side (preferred).
TRAVEL: Be willing to travel globally if needed and drive all over LA (must have a car)
SOFTWARE: Microsoft Office (fluent), Photoshop is a plus, Final Draft is a plus
SKILLS: Great communicator. Ability to grow with our company and delegate to others as we scale.
