EMMY Award Winning, RWS and Associates Entertainment Inc., is an entertainment firm providing custom-designed as well as pre-packaged events and productions throughout the world. Our clients include: Macy’s, Kohl's, Vera Wang, Covergirl, Coppertone, Clear Channel World Wide, GlaxoSmithKline, Cedar Fair, Hershey Corporation and many more.
We are seeking a hard working, intelligent, organized and responsible individual with a professional work ethic for a summer-long national tour to 9 cities. Qualified candidates will have strong attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, ability to work with the cast and local crews, and a strong knowledge of both stage/tour management and theatrical lighting. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Lightwright and Vector Works is preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Attend training prior to tech rehearsals, to learn the set, lighting, video and sound load in and strike. Training to include at least one fully successful load in and load out.
2. Supervise the load in and load out of the set, lighting, video and sound at first venue and all subsequent tour venues.
3. Assist in the packing and unpacking of the truck at first venue and all subsequent tour venues.
4. Run the technical and dress rehearsals.
5. Call the show at all subsequent tour venues.
6. Fly with the cast from venue to venue.
7. Assist the lighting designer with the lighting focus documentation at first venue.
8. Run the lighting focus at each subsequent tour venue.
9. Work with the in-house lighting technician at each tour venue to ensure any lighting elements specific to each venue are implemented according to the Lighting Designer’s specifications.
10. Give an orientation session to the cast at each tour venue, giving them any blocking or technical changes dictated by the venue.
11. Provide support to the Design Team and Production staff when they are on-site.
