Account Manager, Gaming

We are currently seeking an Account Manager with a sharp understanding of the gaming industry (how it operates, how to navigate the verticals, and who the decision makers are) to join the team. The ideal candidate is a team player that brings a creative and strategic mind, experience & passion for brand marketing, and quick thinking to a fast growing team of professionals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Manage client briefs and the delivery of work against those briefs
Support teams and program development by infusing insider knowledge and industry-focused insights aimed at focusing on talent-centric partnerships and collaborations as well as industry-wide events and brand partnerships.
Provide key strategic thinking and deliver exceptional service and counsel to clients
Provide consistent and clear communication with both client and internal team regarding all aspects of the account
Guide junior team members to manage projects & timelines
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client's business challenges, their competition, and their industry, and translate that knowledge into actionable opportunities for the agency to grow the account financially
Assist with creation and presentation of program pitches
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Build and nurture productive business relationships with vendors and other outside organizations
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 5+ years of agency experience with no less than 2 proven years of experience in the gaming industry
Knowledge and understanding of the larger gaming industry, including but not limited to:
Publisher and Developer dynamics & relationships
Key Gaming Medium (console, PC, mobile etc)
E-sports
Consumer and Talent behaviors and practices (including streaming)
Industry Tentpoles and Events (E3, BlizzCon, PAX E&W, DreamHack etc)
Infrastructure power players
Regularly consumes Industry Updates and News
Industry relationships and Connections, a plus
Strong understanding of social media and PR
Excellent communication/client facing skills and able to build trust in the relationships
Individual should be curious with an appetite to learn and teach
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Creative thinker and self-starter
Positive, proactive personality
Ability to listen intently
BtoC and BtoB experience recommended, but not a mandate
Strong team player and proven ability to work independently and with others
