Rigging Specialist (Automation Technician)
Royal Caribbean International is now recruiting Rigging Specialists ready for an exciting life at sea. Our riggers work with some of the most advanced rigging technology at sea in all types of productions onboard, from ice skating shows to musical theater productions to aerialists and flying acts and more. Imagine spending your morning maintaining equipment, your afternoon rehearsing our flying shows, and your evening being a part of the production. 3 years professional theater rigging experience preferred
Working knowledge of theatrical rigging, maintenance and inspections
Ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain automated and manual rigging systems required
Familiar with current PC and PLC stage technologies and rigging operations
Completion of training or equivalent stage/arena rigging courses such as Jay Glerum, Harry Donovan, Bill Sapsis, Tomcat preferred
Opportunity for advancement to Stage & Production Manager
