The Role:
We have an opening for a Marketing Manager in our New York office. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating marketing plans including advertising, and promotional plans, publicity, social media and media buying for Round Room tours, including developing and executing non-traditional promotions and ideas for each show. The Marketing Manager will need to manage the national marketing strategy as well as manage relationships with both local promoters and project licensors. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will need to be able to work within a dynamic team and build strong relationships and communicate with many partners throughout North America and the World.
Responsibilities:
-Have a good working knowledge of the North American markets, including relationship building efforts with key media and local influencers.
-Be familiar with live event marketing and event planning.
-Create brand marketing plans and identify strategic marketing partners and opportunities.
-Work with IP holders as well as various agencies and contractors to create approved marketing materials and asset packages for each project.
-Maintain a close relationship with local marketing managers to deliver up to date assets, approval of localized assets, local budgets, and making sure to assist in any other local marketing needs.
-Comfortable communicating with local marketing teams and managers.
-Prepare and execute unique, comprehensive marketing and promotional campaigns for Round Room projects.
-Implement digital marketing & social media strategies including the distribution of targeted eblasts to the Round Room database & social media engagement/content management.
-Work with other team members to coordinate effective promotions and take advantage of related promotional inventory.
-Manage media buying process including, but not limited, digital, social, radio, TV, print and outdoor.
-Develop, monitor and adjust advertising budgets as needed.
-Manage national and local press and publicity for each project in concert with press contractors.
-Work closely with the team to create and implement ticketing promotions and programs.
-Create social media content for each project that is platform specific.
-Manage web contractor's creation of website, with approved assets, liaising with promoter on key info, and on-sale rollout.
-Communicate daily with local marketing teams to insure that sales goals are reached for individual events.
-Assist with creating new VIP packages as well as developing ways to inform potential ticket buyers about the programs.
Knowledge & Experience:
-3+ years' experience in entertainment industry marketing, tour marketing experience would be an asset.
-Experience managing and building social channels for a brand
-Strong computer skills
-Creative and proactive thinker
-Team-oriented with a collaborative work approach
-Results-focused and solution-oriented mindset
-Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
-Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
-Graphic design and web development experience will set you apart
