TITLE OF POSITION: Coordinator, Royalty Services iMaestro
OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Royalty Services primary responsibility is to assist in the processing and analysis of the company's music publishing royalties. The Coordinator will prepare electronic royalty data files and convert other files types, including paper statements, utilizing Microsoft Excel for ingestion into Counterpoint/Vistex's iMaestro. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist in other royalty department processes, such as client statement preparation.
REPORTS TO: Director, Royalty Services
LOCATION: Round Hill Music's Nashville Office - 1802 Grand Avenue, Nashville, TN 37121
FUNCTIONS:
• Prepare and manipulate royalty data in Microsoft Excel
• Scan and convert paper-based royalty statements to electronic formats
• Electronic and physical filing of royalty statements
• Work with the administration department regarding the setup of new deals
• Royalty song matching in iMaestro
• Song and sub-code creation in iMaestro
• Update client rates in iMaestro
• Song research using PRO website/portals, agreements/scheduled, etc.
• Review and extract relevant information (rate, payment, etc.) from publishing and administration
agreements
• Download royalty statements (in PDF, csv, data files, etc.) from source royalty portals (PRO, labels,
etc.)
• Assist in the management of the company's royalty portal (account creation, linking clients, etc.)
• Take the lead on royalty analysis projects assigned by the Director
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
• No less than 3 years of experience processing royalties in Counterpoint/Vistex's iMaestro
• 3 years of royalty and music business or related work experience at a music publishing company
• Bachelors Degree in Music Business, Technology or related field preferred
• Music industry experience preferred
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office applications
• Analytical and problem solving, abilities, data pattern recognition and analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy
• Self-starter and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and procedures
• Hardworking, enthusiastic and results oriented
