The Vibe
We are an LA-based digital studio looking for a Social Media Content Intern who doesn't just watch horror, but lives in the fandom. If you instinctively know what makes the horror community tick, track internet mysteries, and live on the weird side of TikTok, this is your sandbox.
This role is built for an emerging creator or student ready to help shape a brand's voice from the ground up. We want someone with strong creative taste, sharp instincts, and a genuine point of view.
What You'll Do
Create: Produce high-hook, short-form video content for TikTok, IG Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Brainstorm: Help develop original content formats, recurring series, and social-first concepts.
Trend Hunt: Track horror trends, analog horror, meme culture, and internet lore to turn them into high-engagement content.
Copywrite: Draft sharp captions, hooks, and community-facing copy that sounds native to the genre.
Execute: Assist with video editing, clipping, and formatting.
Analyze: Review what performs well and use data to refine the creative strategy.
What You Bring
Genre Obsession: An unironic, deep passion for horror culture and community.
Social Native: Strong instincts for short-form video hooks, visual pacing, and internet culture.
The Tools: Basic familiarity with CapCut, Premiere, or similar editing tools. Experience with GenAI tools (for brainstorming, image gen, or motion experiments) is a massive plus.
Drive: Reliability, organization, and a desire to build something cool from scratch. Bonus points if you run your own personal brand, fandom page, or creative side-project.
What Success Looks Like
You'll help us build an authentic social footprint before we even launch a massive library. Success means creating content that feels like it belongs in the feeds of die-hard horror fans, testing new formats, and earning attention purely through great creative.
