We have a rare opportunity for a charismatic and talented Cambridgeshire-based professional musician to join our team to take over existing choirs in or near Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Neots, Royston, Cambourne & Ely. This a rewarding position musically. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK and remain the most popular and high-profile. We have won three Guinness World Records, achieved two top-twenty albums, and been the subject of a three-part ITV1 documentary The Choir That Rocks.
As a Rock Choir Leader, you should possess fantastic piano and vocal skills with the ability to teach at the same time. You will be organised, reliable, charismatic, energetic and able to work both alone and as part of our world leading musical team. Full training is provided so you can apply even if you have not run a choir before.
Our Leaders teach 3 or 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!
You also have the chance for career development in specialist areas once you are settled as a choir leader.
Love using Sibelius? - We offer the chance to score!
Love the recording process? - We offer the chance to produce tracks!

Love language? - Work on copy with us.
Like to share your skills? - You can train new choir leaders.
Got a special craft like Estill? - Produce workshops for your peers.
Want to do corporate days? - Past events in Ibiza and Germany!
Got a youtuber itch? - Run our online choirs.
Love running a team? - Become a regional manager.
Love producing shows? - Could you do Proms in the Park?
Own car and portable piano and PA are essential.
Here is a quote about the role from one of our choir leaders - ''I really enjoy working as choir leader. I work with a great team of people, have lots of fun and I am very proud of the choirs I teach, who in a very short space of time have come together to make a fantastic sound. The job satisfaction with this role is tremendous.'' Jan Moll (Hampshire Rock Choir Leader)
