We have a rare opportunity for a charismatic and talented Staffordshire-based professional musician to join our team to take over existing choirs in or near Cannock, Stafford & Wolverhampton. This a rewarding position musically. We were the first contemporary choir in the UK and remain the most popular and high-profile. We have won three Guinness World Records, achieved two top-twenty albums, and been the subject of a three-part ITV1 documentary The Choir That Rocks.
As a Rock Choir Leader, you should possess fantastic piano and vocal skills with the ability to teach at the same time. You will be organised, reliable, charismatic, energetic and able to work both alone and as part of our world leading musical team. Full training is provided so you can apply even if you have not run a choir before.
Our Leaders teach 3 or 4 evenings a week during term time and have long summer holidays. You would lead your choir members to concerts on a local and national basis. We have a supportive and friendly HQ team who provide you with all the training, resources and arrangements you need to lead your choirs to the best of your ability and you would also train once a month with your peers. There is also the opportunity to be part of recording experiences, and TV and radio appearances!
You also have the chance for career development in specialist areas once you are settled as a choir leader.

Salary
£640 min pw for 8 choirs +bonus + 20 weeks holiday
