Executive Assistant/Office Manager/Development Associate
Do you have connections and/or experience in new media/branded content/etc. and want to take the next step to making your own successful productions?
Small, yet well-established production company located in West Hollywood EP is seeking an executive assistant/office manager/development associate. This key role will help bring in new projects and clients in branded/new media, run the nuts and bolts of the office, and gain the invaluable support of working for a company with decades of success under their belt. In exchange for your hard work, you'll receive a guaranteed salary, PTO, Healthcare, and the potential for commission.
This person who have experience in creating or finding projects that could be pitched to companies like Hulu, Netflix, truTV, Amazon Prime, YouTube Channels, and TBS. Our production company also produces branded entertainment and we are looking to expand in this arena.

Duties of the position include -
- Having knowledge of the digital and streaming landscape.
-This person will act as a partner to the EP; managing schedules and logistics of the company and its productions, assisting with communications, and helping to secure new projects. Candidates must have superior organizational skills, keen attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, juggle priorities and requests, and be able to focus on development research and sales between productions.
-Managing communications via phone, email, snail mail, etc.
-All other administrative and office management duties: phones, call lists, filing, calendars, email and document drafting/dictation for e-mails, basic bookkeeping, supplies, organizing, etc.
-Production Management as needed: budgeting, scheduling, meetings, call-sheets, logistics, research, permitting, hiring and managing crew, deal memos, travel arrangements, dissemination of all pertinent information to parties involved, on-set production management as needed, and trafficking for post-production deliverables.
-Professionally represent the business both in the office and during production.
-Identifying ways to promote the company, save time and money, and increase business when opportunities arise.
-Assist with project creative and development.
-Rare personal support to EP such as flight booking, gift buying, etc.
Required Experience/Skills -
-MAC proficient, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) proficient, and generally computer savvy
-Basic accounting (QuickBooks or similar)
-Basic DAM skills (uploading, organizing, online/hard drive, etc)
-Scheduling and calendar management
-General Production Manager skills: budgeting, logistics, crewing, call sheets, scripts, on-set management, communications, etc.
Bonus Skills -
-Development experience/contacts/passion
-Experience in branded entertainment/videos
About you -
The ideal candidate will be smart, organized, reliable, level-headed, a natural problem solver, a self-starter, and have a can-do attitude. You should take pride in managing the nuts and bolts in the office as much as fast-paced productions.
You must also be able to:
- Commit to being available 40hrs Monday - Friday, but have some flexibility as needed for production
- Have a valid driver's license, car, and insurance and be willing to use that vehicle occasionally for work (mileage reimbursed)
- Occasionally travel for on-set production locally and remotely - about 5-10% of the year.
