Full Time Job
Art Media is hiring an Account Manager. The position includes selling all print and digital products as well as live media sponsorships for ARTnews, Art in America, and Robb Report. Reporting to the Publisher, the Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:
• Develop and expand new and current business for Art in America, ARTnews, and Robb Report.
• Capture and close new business from trade advertisers for print, digital, social, and live media
• Provide sales closing support to personnel
• Build client relationships
• Generate revenue through sponsored Live Media events
• Liaise with the product, content, and marketing teams to build programs and products
• Achieve overall revenue goals to best achieve the quarterly budgets
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development
• Experience and knowledge of the art world is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally
• Knowledge of the international art market, its institutions, galleries, auction houses, and personalities, especially those in New York City is a plus
• Interest in and familiarity with the fine and decorative arts and collectibles is a plus
Typical wage range: $70k - $80k
Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
