Position: Assistant Account Manager - Entry level position with opportunities for significant growth
Who you are: A highly organized individual who is ready and willing to to learn about all facets of the music industry from the ground up. A positive attitude, attention to detail, solid math skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are a must. Experience with Excel and Quickbooks as well as knowledge of basic accounting are a plus, but we're willing to teach if you're eager to learn.
What you'd do: This starting position focuses heavily on administrative duties in support of 1-2 account managers - including answering phones, processing payments, organizing mail, filing, calendar management, and other projects as needed. As you grow into the role, we will train you to take on more specialized responsibilities such as assisting with tour budgeting/reconciliation and international and domestic reduced tax applications.
Skills Needed:
Ability to speak to high profile clientele, including artists, managers, lawyers, record labels, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organization
Capability to multitask and prioritize a high volume of assignments
Good time management
Friendly, professional demeanor
Positive attitude and capacity to accept constructive criticism and direction
teamwork as well as independent problem-solving
