Roadside Attractions is seeking a creative, film-obsessed Digital Marketing Intern for the Summer 2026 season. This role goes past basic content -it requires an understanding of how to leverage digital trends within the independent cinema landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
• Content Creation: Utilize Canva and CapCut to design high-impact social assets. On some campaigns or library titles, you'll be responsible for taking static film stills and turning them into dynamic stories, as well as editing ''lo-fi'' vertical video content that feels native to social platforms.
• Premiere & Event Coverage: Assist the digital team with on-the-ground content capture at red carpet premieres, press junkets, and special screenings. (Includes capturing BTS footage and ''Man on the Street'' style interviews).
• Trend Monitoring: Keep a pulse on viral audio, cinematic memes, and platform updates to ensure Roadside stays ahead of the curve.
• Reporting: Assist in tracking social sentiment and campaign analytics to see what's resonating with our audience.
• Talent & Press Toolkits: You will curate approved video clips, stills, and ''Review Blurbs'' into organized folders (Dropbox/Box), ensuring talent, filmmakers, and press partners have platform-ready social assets per campaign.
• Organizational Systems: High comfort level with Google Workspace, Dropbox, or Box for file organization.
• Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail regarding asset management.
• Film Literacy: A genuine passion for independent film and a familiarity with the Roadside Attractions library.
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a college or university (Marketing, Film, or Communications preferred).
• Available to work 3 days per week.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Los Angeles for event coverage.
