Roadside Attractions is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Company's Co-Presidents. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative duties. Special projects will be assigned based on Company needs as well as the Executive Assistant's skills and interests. The ideal candidate must be poised, adaptable, exceptionally well organized, passionate about specialty film, and excited by the opportunity to take on a wide-ranging support role in a busy office.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Answer phones, place outgoing calls for the Co-Presidents, and update the Co-Presidents' phone sheets
-Manage the Co-Presidents' schedules and set internal and external meetings and calls, which may include handling some personal tasks and travel as well as helping with administration for external volunteer organizations
-Coordinate domestic and international travel, including film festival logistics and accommodations
-Prepare expense reports for the Company's Co-Presidents and SVP Distribution
-Monitor supply and equipment stock, determine Company needs, and place orders as needed
-Serve as point contact with various office-related third party vendors, Building Maintenance, and Building Manager
-Evaluate finished films and literary material for acquisitions, film/TV development, research, and general informational purposes
-Screen unsolicited calls and respond to inquiries submitted to the Company's general email account and general voicemail
-Establish and maintain systems, databases, and company infrastructure
-Learn company accounting system in order to assist with monitoring project costs
-Route mail and coordinate deliveries
-Interview intern candidates and help manage internship program
-Complete ad hoc projects across as needed/directed
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree (BA/BFA/BS) from a four-year college or university
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort with basic math
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Eligibility Requirements:
-Interested candidates must submit a resume and cover letter to be considered
-Available to travel and work overtime, including weekends as necessary
-Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States
-Must be willing to adhere to Company's COVID-19 workplace safety policies
Desired Characteristics:
-1 year of assistant experience in the entertainment industry
-Motivated self-starter who is excited to learn about all facets of independent film distribution and feature/TV development
-Knowledge of the specialty film landscape as well as passion for smart, entertaining storytelling for adults generally
-Car and valid driver's license
