The Cultural Facilities & Events Director is a creative professional responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the Art Park campus at Arkins Park (Art Park). This role oversees the coordinated management of the Truss House, Prep Kitchen/Restaurant, one-acre event lawn, shared campus spaces, as well as artist studios across the RiNo Art District. The position reports to the Executive Director of the RiNo Art District, works in close collaboration with RAD's Programs Manager, as well as campus partners including Denver Parks & Recreation and the Bob Ragland Branch of the Denver Public Library (DPL), a key tenant within the Art Park at Arkins Park ecosystem.
This position is ideal for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of events, hospitality, logistics, and creative culture. Candidates who thrive on building systems, managing spaces, organizing people, and turning imaginative ideas into beautifully executed realities.
Qualifications
5+ years experience in venue management, event production, hospitality operations, or cultural facility leadership
Demonstrated success generating earned revenue and managing budgets
Strong organizational and project management skills
Experience managing food & beverage programs preferred
Ability to work evenings/weekends as needed for events
Ability to lift/carry event equipment (not required daily, but helpful during event setup/breakdown)
A deep respect for artists, creatives, and community-centered programming
Salary/Benefits
$90,000.00
- 110,000.00
per year
