Rideback Rise Program Coordinator
Rideback Rise, founded by leading film and television producer Rideback (LEGO, ALADDIN, IT, SHERLOCK HOLMES, WALKER) is seeking a Program Coordinator for its Rideback Rise Fellowship, a content accelerator that aims to discover and nurture exciting new creative voices with an emphasis on diversity. The Rideback Rise Fellowship provides funding and other resources to a select group of BIPOC film and television creators (''Fellows'') in order to support them while they develop, package and finance their projects. The Program Coordinator will be based in the Rise Fellowship offices at Rideback Ranch, a creative campus in LA's Historic Filipino town that is home to a variety of groundbreaking filmmakers and creative companies.
The Program Coordinator will report directly to the Rideback Rise Head of Content and work closely with other members of the Rideback Rise team. The Program Coordinator will primarily be responsible for the administration of the Rideback Rise Program, including running its day-to-day operations and ensuring that its creators (including Fellows, Residents, and Circle Members) have all the resources they need to succeed, whilst building a culture of camaraderie and support in line with Rideback Rise values. You will be expected to assist in the reviewing and processing of Fellowship applications, be well versed in the details of all of the selected projects, and be ready to offer constructive input during development. Other duties include actively helping to develop the curriculum, coordinating all program scheduling, organizing various networking events, and receptions, and deputizing for the Head of Content as needed.
The right candidate must have had significant experience working in the entertainment industry (e.g. as an assistant or junior executive at a talent agency, management company, production company or studio) and possess a solid set of industry relationships and connections. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized self-starter who is enthusiastic about building something from the ground up and ultimately rising up through the ranks themselves. Knowledge of script development and ability to write script coverage are a must, as is a working familiarity with digital content. Exemplary interpersonal and communications skills are required to navigate a fast-paced process driven environment.
