Role Overview: Producer's Assistant
Rich Spirit is an independent film distribution company dedicated to bold storytelling, cultural impact, and supporting visionary filmmakers. The Producer's Assistant will work closely with the CEO and team to handle administrative, logistical, and creative support across various facets of the company, including acquisitions, film releases, marketing efforts, and partnerships. This role is best suited for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about film, television, and media. Responsibilities are wide-ranging and ideal for someone eager to learn and build long-term skills within the entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Logistical Support
Manage document organization, data tracking, and reports relevant to company projects.
Handle personal errands as needed to support the efficiency of leadership.
Development Support
Keep track of film and television project submissions from talent agencies, producers, and directors
Monitor and evaluate industry screenings, major film festivals including watching key projects
Support and inform the internal development slate, tracking notes and updates for ongoing projects
Assist with the coordination of project packaging, including assembling creative teams and strategic planning.
Production Coordination
Support film festival logistics, ensuring smooth execution for screenings, panels, and networking event
Maintain production schedules, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
Work with marketing teams to develop and execute PR strategies for Rich Spirit's projects
Support ongoing production needs, including coordinating with crews, securing locations, and managing production logistics.
Facilitate communication between production, marketing, and distribution teams.
Marketing & PR Support
Contribute to the marketing efforts surrounding BLKNWS and other projects.

Work on press and media outreach strategies to promote Rich Spirit's productions and acquisitions.
Assist with the development of campaign strategies for film releases, social media initiatives, and audience engagement efforts.
Expectations & Work Structure
Contract Position: No benefits, but a competitive offer will be put together.
Hybrid Work Model: Must be available to work 2-3 days per week in-office (Greenpoint, Brooklyn) from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM.
