REVOLT LIVE RESEARCHER JOB POSTING
Job Description:
• Assist producer with all elements needed for Revolt TV's music centric daily, live show, Revolt Live.
• This position requires a passion for creating and developing content that encompasses all aspects of the music industry with knowledge in many music genres.
Responsibilities include:
• Compile early morning rundown of daily, topical stories in the music, news, entertainment and pop culture world.
• Conduct comprehensive research for show artists, new music, album releases, chart statistics and featured segments.
• Provide and create elements (i.e. Broll, VO's, SOT's, stills, graphics, charts, music videos, etc.) for daily live show.
• Knowledgeable and versatile with music, entertainment, social websites and platforms including: Twitter, Snapchat, SoundCloud, Instagram, Vine, and Periscope.
• Identify, compose, write and spell check lower thirds for show content.
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of television and/or production experience preferably in daily, live TV setting.
• Knowledge and experience of studio and control room workings.
• Strong research skills and interest in digging for those little known facts that make a difference between the ordinary and extraordinary.
• Entertainment/music/news junkie a must.
• Absolute attention to detail in grammar, spelling, facts, pronunciations in all aspects of writing.
• Full computer skills including: excel, outlook, google docs, calendars, power point,
• Familiarity with of iNews (newsroom management system).
• This is an entry level in-house position with a 4 day workweek commitment based in Los Angeles
