HOW DO I FOLLOW UP WITH AN EMPLOYER FOR A NON-CONFIDENTIAL POSTING?
We understand your interest and desire in following up on job applications. The reason we do not have a follow-up option is that employers/recruiters don't want it. They receive so many applications and unfortunately, they do not have the time to field any follow-up questions. They have a very vetted process of hiring and they don't let qualified people fall through the cracks. We know that it feels good to be proactive so the best follow up you can do it to tap your network to see if you have any connections to anyone inside or outside the company that can be an advocate on your behalf.
