Represent.com seeks a professional and driven Business Development Coordinator who will play an essential role in the growth of our organization by supporting the Head of Business Development and other Business Development Managers in organizing meetings and calls, monitoring follow-ups and managing existing client relationships. Los Angeles based Represent.com is a leading entertainment social merchandising & marketing platform that enables talent to create and sell custom apparel with no upfront costs. Launched in May 2014, Represent removes the hurdles between having a creative idea and selling merchandise online, and enables any influencer to generate engagement, social good and profit through e-commerce. Represent's client list includes actors such as (Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Will Ferrell, Arnold Schwarzenegger) athletes (Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, Cam Newton, David Ortiz), musical artists (Camila Cabello, Niall Horan, Ice Cube, Jennifer Lopez) and YouTube stars (PewDiePie, Grace Helbig, Markiplier)
Represent was acquired by Custom Ink in 2016 and remains independently run.
Responsibilities:
Help coordinate sales meetings with Business Development team and talent
Drive campaign support and account management for celebrity clients
Assist in potential client lead generation and outreach strategy
Monitor business development pipeline and the progress of client leads from concept to launch
Present/take notes on pitch phone calls and meetings with potential clients and representatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
1-3 years experience at a talent agency or entertainment company on a busy desk
Proficiency in MS Office
Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight or supervision
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a strong interest in sales and a desire to grown internally within the company. Coachable, receptive and eager to learn
Exceptional verbal and written communication
In addition, you must share our company values -- practicing the Golden Rule, taking Ownership, and driving and embracing Innovation.
