Relativity Media is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to drive and implement social media strategy and best practices for upcoming Relativity Media movies. This position reports to the Executive Director of Digital Marketing.
Responsibilities will include:
• Develop and execute innovative social media campaigns to build conversation and communities for slate of movies
• Oversee day-to-day editorial and content for social media channels
• Collect and consolidate local reports, providing topline insights
• Manage all social listening and analysis projects to gather insights and quickly adjust the ongoing campaign.
• Serve as lead point of contact and manage the relationships between Relativity and various social media agencies working on campaigns
• Work with internal teams to support ongoing marketing and PR campaigns in support of movie slate
• Work closely with PR, Promotions, Content, Media, and Insights groups to ensure social media communications are optimized for engagement and ROI
The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate creative and artistic vision, storytelling ability, communications skill, and a clear track record of success in project management of multiple ongoing initiatives.
• Have experience managing social media agencies
• Be capable of operating effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving, unpredictable social media environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously under deadline.
• Be effective at working with a broad range of partners and vendors, both inside Relativity and outside.
• Show a marked interest in the entertainment landscape, especially movies, as well as technology and general pop culture.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year experience working in a corporate, studio environment- or two years at an agency setting- focused on social media and digital marketing communications for entertainment brands.
• The candidate will have a bachelor's degree and be conversant in a wide range of social media platforms, as well as general social, PR and marketing strategies.
