Senior Accountant

This is a Full Time Job

Relativity Media seeks a Senior Accountant for the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and Journal Entries
• Assist with analyzing financial statements/budgets on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for multiple business units
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience
• CPA a plus, but not required

Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Dynamics AX, Atlas, and FRX preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting theory
• Prior experience in film, tv, and/or music industry
• Highly detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines
• Ability to operate independently and accomplish objectives with minimal daily direction from manager
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
