Music Royalty Assistant

This is a Full Time Job

Working under the direction of the Senior Manager, Royalties & Claims, the Royalty Assistant will develop knowledge of the inner workings of the global music market. The successful candidate will:
• Learn to import/match data in a music rights management system
• Assist with the creation of quarterly client reports & statements
• Compile vital information needed for royalty claims process
• Answer telephones and perform other administration support as needed

The Ideal Candidate:
• Has a college degree in Business, Finance, Math or Music
• Possesses an interest in music royalties and a high aptitude for math and numbers
• Is detail-oriented, organized, quick learner, able to multitask and able to meet deadlines
• Is proficient in excel, word and outlook
• Has excellent written and oral communication skills
