WHAT'S COOL ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
PAX is a celebration of all things gaming, held each year in San Antonio, Boston, Seattle and Philadelphia. At each show, PAX is a place for communities to gather and celebrate video games, tabletop games, RPGs, gaming culture and the gaming industry. The PAX Content Coordinator is responsible for helping curate, create and execute of all of the incredible gaming content that will come to life outside the expo floor! This includes all panel content, concerts, autographing, special activations, freeplay and tournaments that take place during the event. There is no typical day for a content coordinator and your day to day responsibilities could be anything from brainstorming exciting content activations with a developer for their upcoming release, to curating special gaming events, to reviewing and updating the show schedule on the website. At PAX, you might go from networking with popular streamers, to scouring the convention center for a missing box of merchandise or finding water for panelists at one of our theatres. The PAX Content Coordinator plays a key role by working on every part of the show's lifecycle - from the creation of new content ideas, to the pre-planning process, to panel curation, special guest outreach, scheduling, budgeting, and then, finally, invoice payment and sending out thank you cards. We are looking for a dynamic person who is enthusiastic about games as a medium and excited about delivering content that gamers will love!
BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE:
• Craft communications for all special guests
• Help curate and schedule all panel content
• Manage and maintain relationships with key content partners and always provide a high level of customer service

• Must have a strong capacity for multi-tasking, working independently and collaboratively, and have effective time management skills
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented to ensure all content partners are being communicated with in a comprehensive and timely manner
• Bring the same level of passion to every project you work on, no matter how big or small it is, and always respect each customer you work with
• Never be afraid to jump into the white space and try something new. Big ideas are encouraged here.
• Regularly engage and support our legion of PAX Enforcers as they are the true backbone of the show
• Always be thinking about the fan experience and the content we deliver at our shows and how they can be improved
