WHAT'S COOL ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Reedpop works with some of the biggest and most influential brands in the world and this role plays an important role in bringing some of our largest branded experiences to life. As part of our branded events team, you will work directly with our key contacts at Lucasfilm, Disney, Microsoft, Crunchyroll and others to deliver immersive brand experiences for their audiences. The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for working with our clients to develop and execute the overall marketing and publicity plans in order to create awareness in the market and drive attendance for the shows. Our ideal candidate would be a positive, dynamic marketer with a true love for brand storytelling and is driven to always make their clients and customers happy. You'll have the opportunity to craft marketing plans that cover digital, traditional, influencer, guerrilla and 'word of mouth' marketing for highly engaged audiences. You will also lead the design and production process for a variety of projects including advertisements, digital campaigns, OOH advertising, posters, logos, event signage, infographics and so much more. We are looking for a talented marketer who is enthusiastic about the brands we work with (Star Wars, Minecraft, Crunchyroll) and excited about creating once in a lifetime experiences for their audiences. BRING YOUR PASSION AND EXPERTISE:
• Develop and execute the vision and plan for the marketing, branding, PR and on site experience for Star Wars Celebration, Minecraft Festival and Crunchyroll Expo
• Track status, progress and measure key metrics (ROI and KPIs) of all marketing initiatives
• Develop and execute a comprehensive paid and organic social media plan focused on attendee acquisition and driving high levels of customer interaction
• Responsible for writing, designing, deploying and tracking weekly e-mail newsletters
• Regularly update copy, images and announcements on the event websites
• Maintain, update and monitor all event social media accounts on a daily basis
• Work with photo and video contractors to create, develop, edit and then distribute compelling video and photographic content for our social channels and websites
• Develop marketing partnerships in the local markets and surrounding markets in order to drive awareness and ticket sales
• Manage all aspects of mobile app development, updates and marketing
• Manage digital marketing and key art asset creation, delivery and strategy
• Proactively seek out the latest trends in marketing, advertising and experiential activation and recommend how to incorporate those trends into our plans in order to help us achieve our audience acquisition and retention goals
• Assist in the development and management of all press and media campaigns
• Collaborate with outside agency partners as needed
• Manage and maintain relationships with all event partners
• Ensure all messaging and imagery represents our portfolio of shows and Reedpop positively and authentically
• Work with PR teams to identify and leverage media opportunities and publish effective and timely media alerts
• Create and cultivate a "one team" approach through collaboration with event management, sales, registration, operations, creative, talent/content and our brand partners
• Maintain an eye for detail and quality on projects big and small, while communicating with the team to meet deadlines
THE REQUIREMENTS:
• College degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 4+ years marketing consumer products, event marketing or relevant and related experience required
• Must be comfortable building marketing plans for B2C audiences with strong experience in digital marketing, consumer insights, social platforms, brand positioning and marketing analytics
• Experience and knowledge of digital marketing and advertising, including but not limited to social media, blogging, email, display and search marketing
• Knowledge of and/or experience with digital media strategy with a specific focus on audience acquisition, engagement, and conversion
• Experience running targeted, high-return ad campaigns, specifically on Facebook is preferred
• Strong copy writing skills are required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of all social media platforms, including but not limited to YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Tik Tok and Twitter – both as a marketer and as a user
• Must be highly collaborative with a ''We'' not ''Me'' mentality
• Organized, detail oriented & proactive with a strong sense of ownership and a true passion for pop culture, fan communities and the brands we work with
• We are looking for a creative thinker and a problem solver – someone who can deliver innovative marketing plans that fans will love and also be capable of executing them
• Resourceful and willing to find creative solutions that will help you achieve your goals

• Some domestic and possibly international travel is required. Approximately 6-8 times per year
