Law Firm focused on transactional entertainment law seeking a Paralegal, Music Licensing.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our sync and sound recording licensing activities across film, TV, and live sports. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the entertainment and music industry and will work closely with the legal team to ensure music license agreements comply with legal requirements and client guidelines. The paralegal will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing music licenses, as well as maintaining accurate records of all agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and team support to ensure the smooth operation of our sync and sound recording licensing activities across film, TV, and live sports
• Review and analyze music licenses and contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Negotiate and finalize music license agreements with music licensors and publishers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all music licenses and agreements
• Identify and address any potential discrepancies and/or conflicts with the music rights we are obtaining for use
• Work closely with the legal team to ensure all music usage is in compliance with guidelines provided by clients
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met
• Highly organized, efficient, good with time management and managing a lot of moving parts
• Basic understanding of entertainment and music industry
• Liaison between client and music rights holders as necessary
Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and DocuSign.
