Red Apple Media/WABC Radio
77 WABC Radio is looking for an experienced full-time broadcast engineer to join our growing team. Under its new owner, WABC is quickly growing as a fast paced news/multimedia content creator with 770AM and news/talk at our core. Technology drives our business and management is keen on having knowledgeable, strong work ethic technical professionals on our team.
The desired candidate will have experience working in a live radio and music environment. This will be a hands on position involving knowledge of audio theory, broadcast transmission systems, audio processing, AOIP, analog audio theory, Dante, PA systems, mechanical skills, RCS Zetta, Sierra Automated Systems, soldering, wiring…etc.
The position would require shared 24/7 on-call support, and would ultimately require a 6 or 7am start time. You should be able to lift 50LBS over your head and be able to work on wiring inside broadcast furniture.
