Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant in Business & Legal Affairs to provide vital administrative support to the Entertainment Business & Legal Affairs Department (consisting of four executives). The ideal candidate will have an interest in the business and legal aspects of the entertainment industry and may be considering law school in the future. This full-time hybrid position is based at our Santa Monica office and requires 3 to 4 days in office.

Responsibilities
• Perform general administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing for meetings, taking notes, submitting expenses, securing signatures for agreements, and processing invoices.
• Track and manage options, ensuring an accurate system for tracking deal statuses across various business functions.
• Assist with drafting and processing basic agreements.

Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships while maintaining confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Administrative experience within the entertainment industry, preferably at a production company, studio or network/ platform is a plus.

The hourly salary range for this position is $21-$23, depending on qualifications and experience.
