Ramfis Productions is seeking highly motivated and exceptionally talented interns for our Summer/Fall 2025 Development team. This part-time internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of film production, working remotely. Interviews will be conducted virtually in late April and early May, with successful candidates starting in June, 1 2025. The internship is designed to be flexible and accommodate school or other work schedules.
Responsibilities
This internship provides invaluable experience in all aspects of film development. Interns will work directly with the head of the company, gaining insight into project development from inception to execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting in-depth research for various projects.
Reading and analyzing scripts and other development materials.
Assisting the production team with administrative tasks.
Managing social media presence (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)-creating engaging content and maintaining a professional online image.
Contributing to the development and setup of new projects.
Qualifications
We are seeking exceptional individuals who are not only highly skilled but also possess a unique blend of passion, drive, and collaborative spirit. Ideal candidates will:
Possess excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Macintosh & Windows platforms).
Demonstrate strong academic achievement and a genuine passion for film.
Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
Be highly motivated, proactive, and possess a ''can-do'' attitude.
Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Be proficient in social media management and content creation.
Have a deep appreciation for diverse storytelling, with a particular interest in amplifying the voices of people of color globally, marginalized communities, women, and the LGBTQ+ community.
Possess a strong understanding of global cinema, with a special interest in Caribbean cinema.
Be adaptable and comfortable working across multiple time zones, with a 24/7 mindset. Weekly Zoom meetings are mandatory.
Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment where urgency is paramount.
Requirements
