Position Overview:
The Theatrical Talent Manager will be responsible for managing and developing our roster of theater actors, creating strategic career plans, and building relationships with industry professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in theatrical talent management, strong industry connections, and a deep understanding of the theatrical landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management: Oversee and manage a diverse roster of theater actors, ensuring their career growth and satisfaction.
Career Development: Develop and implement strategic career plans for clients, including audition preparation, contract negotiation, and career advice.
Industry Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with casting directors, producers, directors, and other industry professionals.
Audition Coordination: Coordinate and prepare clients for auditions, including providing feedback and guidance.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and deals on behalf of clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Market Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, casting opportunities, and emerging talent to provide clients with the best possible opportunities.
Client Relations: Provide exceptional service to clients, maintaining regular communication and addressing their needs and concerns.
Reporting and Analysis: Monitor, analyze, and report on client progress and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Network: Strong industry connections with casting directors, producers, and other key stakeholders in the theatrical industry.
Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Passion: Deep passion for theater and a commitment to supporting and developing theatrical talent.
Creativity: Ability to develop innovative strategies and solutions for client success.
Analytical: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Theater, Performing Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Compensation:
Commission-Based: This position offers an aggressive commission structure with an 80/20 split. You will earn 80% of the revenue generated from your theatrical talent management efforts, with the remaining 20% going to the company.
