We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry, a keen eye for talent, and a proven track record of successfully managing and promoting recording artists. The Talent Manager will be responsible for identifying new talent, developing career strategies, and managing day-to-day activities for our artists.
Identify and scout new talent through various channels, including live performances, online platforms, and industry contacts.
Develop and execute comprehensive career plans for artists, including branding, marketing, and promotional strategies.
Negotiate and secure recording contracts, endorsements, and other business opportunities for artists.
Coordinate and manage recording sessions, tours, promotional events, and media appearances.
Provide guidance and support to artists on creative, professional, and personal matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, including record labels, producers, agents, and promoters.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies to ensure our artists remain competitive.
Monitor and manage budgets, contracts, and financial matters related to artist projects.
Ensure compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Management, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent management, artist development, or a related role within the music industry.
Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the music business.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful career strategies for artists.
Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about music and dedicated to the success of our artists.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Rate of Pay:
Commission based with an aggressive split 80/20.
