Job Title: Assistant Account Executive
Location: New York, NY
Overview:
R&CPMK is seeking a self-starting Assistant Account Executive to join its Entertainment/Content team, working with clients across film, television, production, and corporate communication. This role involves supporting two publicists with client projects and day-to-day operations, managing press and media relations, and assisting with administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and coordinate schedules for two publicists and their clients, including organizing Zoom calls.
• Monitor press clippings, track media impressions, and create detailed media coverage reports.
• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm pitch angles and select promotional clips.
• Handle press requests, update media lists, and occasionally pitch to media outlets.
• Review and edit press materials such as press releases and alerts, ensuring all materials are up to date.
• Respond to client and industry communications via phone and email.
• Create and edit client press schedules and connect clients with press for interviews.
• Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings, taking notes, managing expenses, and other tasks as needed.
• Book travel arrangements for clients and publicists, creating detailed travel itineraries.
• Submit detailed expense reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• 0-1 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in AP style.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Positive attitude with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Proactive, self-directed, and eager to learn.
• Previous entertainment or agency experience preferred.
Salary:
