Casting - TikTok & Reels Creator (On-Camera)
Questify
Los Angeles, CAThis is a Part Time Job
Questify is hiring the first creator who will help build its social voice from zero.
Questify is an iPhone task RPG built around a simple idea: the tasks people avoid should feel more like quests. The app is live; the social brand is just beginning. This is a chance to become the recurring human face of a consumer app and help invent the formats people associate with it.
This is not a scheduling role.
You will own the full creative loop: spot a human truth, write the hook, shoot it, edit it, prepare it to publish, read the comments, study the retention, and make the next version. You will work directly with the founder, with fast decisions and unusually large creative ownership.
You may be our person if:
• You are the friend who knows why a TikTok works before everyone else sends it to the group chat.
• You can make a phone-shot video feel funny, specific, and native instead of polished like an ad.
• You naturally rewrite weak hooks in your head.
• You notice the exact phrases people repeat in comments and turn them into the next post.
• You are confident on camera and equally willing to make the quote card, carousel, screen recording, reaction, or reply that the idea needs.
• You are high-agency: you can move from a blank page to a finished creative without waiting for a perfect brief.
• You want the responsibility of building an account, not just adding a line to your resume.
What you will own:
• Become a recurring on-camera face of Questify.
• Pitch hooks, POVs, recurring series, and culturally native formats.
• Shoot and edit mobile-first work in CapCut or an equivalent editor.
• Help produce roughly 3-5 lightweight posts or creative variations per active production day across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
• Mine comments for audience language, objections, jokes, confusion, and follow-up ideas.
• Track retention, shares, saves, profile visits, store taps, and comment patterns; recommend what to repeat, change, or kill.
• Build a reusable footage, template, and hook library.
• Join occasional Los Angeles batch shoots when possible.
What success looks like:
• A dependable production rhythm.
• Two or three repeatable formats with real audience evidence.
• Faster, smarter iterations each week.
• A brand voice that feels recognizable before it feels corporate.
Current students, recent grads, and self-taught creators are welcome. Work from your own account, a campus organization, a niche page, a client, or a small brand all counts if you can explain what you personally made. Follower count, school, degree, and major matter less than taste, camera presence, speed, reliability, and proof that you understand attention.
Role details:
• Part-time: 10-15 flexible hours per week.
• Pay: $25-$30 per hour.
• Location: Remote-friendly; Los Angeles preferred.
• Start: As soon as possible.
• Initial engagement: Paid 30-day training and evaluation period. If the role continues, the hourly range remains $25-$30. Hours and responsibility may expand by mutual agreement.
No unpaid Questify concept work is part of the application.
Salary/Benefits
Part-time, 10-15 flexible hours per week. Paid 30-day training and evaluation period at $25-$30/hour. If the role continues afterward, compensation remains $25-$30/hour. Remote-friendly; Los Angeles preferred for occasional batch shoots. Direct founder collaboration and substantial creative ownership.
Additional Information
Questify is a live iPhone task RPG that reframes everyday to-dos as quests and themed boss encounters. We are building its social identity from zero through simple, audience-first, high-velocity creative testing.
Please send:
1. Links to three short-form posts you personally helped create.
2. Under each link, one sentence explaining exactly what you wrote, shot, edited, posted, or analyzed.
3. A casual 30-60 second phone-camera introduction. An unlisted Drive, Dropbox, or YouTube link is fine. If video creates an accessibility barrier, request a short live alternative.
4. In 2-4 sentences, explain how you choose and test an opening hook using one of your existing work examples. Do not create new Questify concepts.
5. Your city/time zone, weekly availability, and whether you can occasionally join batch shoots in Los Angeles.
A resume is optional and does not replace the creative evidence above. Please do not send passwords, analytics logins, private client files, or work you do not have permission to share. Applications without work samples or an approved alternative cannot be evaluated. Please do not call.
