Public School Pictures is looking for a highly driven and focused Development Intern to help assist in targeting projects for our Accelerator Program.
THIS POSITION IS FULLY REMOTE. Remote tasks include researching and identifying viable projects in development through crowdfunding sites and tracking boards that could be potential investment and production opportunities for Public School Pictures. Ideally, you would be available 2-3 days a week, but we can work around class schedules. The internship is UNPAID, and college credit is required. Ideal applicants have a general understanding of the current media landscape and has the ability to identify brand aligned projects. No prior internship experience necessary, but a strong interest in the business and understanding of social media outreach and crowdfunding sites a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tracking crowdfunding websites in order to identify upcoming productions. Kickstarter, Seed & Spark, WeFunder, etc
Research potential projects and gather information about needs and opportunities.
Additional support with project-related research for films in creative development
Provide weekly reports on project statuses and new material
QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant education or entry-level experience in Film and TV
Passion and focus on filmed entertainment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Web/tech-savvy to monitor and evaluate trending topics and ideas
Good eye for creative materials and topics in the zeitgeist, which will aid executives in brainstorming for projects
