This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Overview:
Public Record is offering an internship that immerses an aspiring filmmaker in all stages of the film and video production process. This is an active, real-world opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. Previous interns have gone on to join our team as staff or freelancers or have been referred for opportunities elsewhere in the industry. Individuals with a strong interest in honing their project development and production skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
• A passion for filmmaking
• Tech-savviness and proactivity
• A strong eagerness to learn
• Filmmaking experience and work samples (these can range from scripts or treatments to finished films)
• Helpful skills include writing, film/video editing, and design
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as: Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Photoshop

Start Date: Flexible
Duration: 12 or 18 weeks (flexible)
Schedule: 3 to 5 days/week, Monday through Friday
Location: Both in-person and remote candidates will be considered. Our office is in Brooklyn.
